DELIVERING 16,000+ WARM EMBRACES

Even as Best’s sixth annual COATS FOR CONNECTICUT campaign came to an end in early January, donations continued to pour in, pushing this year’s total to over 16,000 coats that were cleaned and delivered to Salvation Army Centers throughout the state. This represents a 14% increase over last year’s record breaking total of 14,000 and a nice bonus to have right as temperatures really dropped. In fact, because of the overwhelming support of our customers, friends, sponsors and the community at large, we were able to expand our reach to include deliveries to Bridgeport, New Haven, New London and Waterbury in addition to the Hartford, Middletown, Meriden, Bristol and New Britain areas. Our warmest thanks for your generosity and for our campaign partners – the Salvation Army, Eyewitness News 3, Country 92.5 Radio, the River 105.9 Radio, Young’s Printing and FastSigns – for turning up the volume and getting the word out in a big way and helping us provide a warm reprieve to those in need.
