New Years Resolutions For Your Wardrobe

2016 is here and it’s time to make some changes! Let’s start with some ideas for your wardrobe.

Get Out Of Your Comfort Zone

We know it’s hard to change your style, so try buying some new pieces you like but wouldn’t normally wear. Websites like Pintrest and Instagram are great for getting ideas on new styles and will show you how to put them all together.

Wear What You Like Rather Than What’s Trending:

There’s nothing wrong with being trendy, but don’t get rid of clothes you like just because a magazine or television show says they are no longer in fashion.

Try New Accessories:

There are so many fabulous options in the accessory department these days. A new necklace, scarf, or nice bag can instantly transform an outfit.

Let Yourself Splurge Once In A While:

If you have been lusting over that leather jacket in the store and you can’t stop thinking about it, buy it! It’s okay to treat yourself once in a while, just don’t make a habit out of it.

It’s Okay To Break The Rules:

The fashion world is filled with Do’s and Don’ts. This year don’t let them get to you. It doesn’t matter what is recommended for your body type, wear what looks good and feels good to you.

What’s In Your Closet?:

Cleaning your closet can be a daunting task, but it always feels great once it’s done. One thing we suggest is to make a pile of all the clothes you’re not wearing and ask yourself why you haven’t worn them. Do they need to be altered? Is it the color? Was it an impulse buy? If it’s a fit issue and altering is the case, bring them Best. Our expert tailoring department will take great care of you. If you just don’t like or want them anymore, consider having a clothing swap with some of your friends or donating them to a local shelter.

No More Random Purchases:

Did you ever wear those zebra boots or that silver dress you HAD to have? No? Then you need to PAUSE before making irrational fashion decisions! Save your hard earned money and invest in statement pieces that will last.
