Employee Spotlight: Teresa La Bianca

Teresa was born in Naples, Italy. At the age of 10 she became interested in sewing and wanted to learn as much as possible. To further her ability, she visited the local dressmakers who taught her many different techniques.

At 17, Teresa’s family made the decision to move to America and eventually settled in Connecticut. Once the family was situated, it was time for Teresa to find work. Her knowledge of sewing got her a job working in a boutique called Paula Maria Fashion in New Britain. It was there she really honed her skills and learned everything she needed to know about the fine art of sewing.

Some years later, Teresa got married and decided to stay home to raise her children. After staying home for almost 12 years she was ready to sew again and got a job working for Best Cleaners. Now 16 years later, she’s still with us. Teresa does a great job for her customers and they are always happy to see her smiling face. The next time you are in our Berlin location make sure to say hello!
