Donate A Coat of Winter Warmth

The 8th ANNUAL COATS FOR CONNECTICUT campaign is on! You can help make a big difference in someone’s life by donating a gently-used winter coat or jacket. It’s as easy as going to your closet and pulling out winter coats and jackets that your family no longer wears. Drop them off at any Best location now through January 7. We’ll clean and deliver all donated coats on a weekly basis to Salvation Army centers throughout Connecticut so struggling families can find some extra warmth to get through the winter months. And thanks to our media partners Eyewitness News WFSB-3 TV and Young’sPrinting/Fast Signs, the word is getting out to more good people like you. Nicole Nalepa of WFSB-TV, Channel 3 Eyewitness News helped kick off the campaign with live reports from Best’s Glastonbury location. She is pictured above with the Best Glastonbury team.

Stuff-A-Van Event, Tuesday, November 29 from 6 a.m.-6 p.m. at WFSB-3 TV, 333 Capital Boulevard, Rocky Hill:
In recognition of National Giving Day, the entire crew at WFSB-TV 3 will be collecting coat donations outside the station throughout the day. Swing by with your gently-used coats and jackets on your way to work or school and help us fill a Best van (or two) with winter warmth for those in need. Children’s coats are especially needed!          COATSFORCTlogo-website
