Campaigning for CT Forests & Parks

As one of Connecticut’s leading environmentally-friendly drycleaning companies, we are happy to wrap up our annual Earth Month campaign with a $1000 donation to the Connecticut Forest & Park Association (CFPA), the first non-profit conservation organization in the state. The goal of the campaign, which ran for three weeks in April and included public service messages in various media, was to generate greater awareness of CFPA programs and services. The donation represented a percentage of Best’s Earth Day sales in all 11 of our locations.

We admire and applaud the hard work and accomplishments of the Connecticut Forest & Park Association and believe the best way to celebrate our beautiful state is to support the people and organizations that help keep it that way. Connecticut Forest & Park Association, founded in 1895, is a volunteer-driven, nonprofit organization serving to protect forests, parks, walking trails, and open spaces for future generations. CFPA maintains the 825-mile Blue-Blazed Hiking Trail System, trains educators to utilize the outdoors as a teaching tool, and protects significant forests, parks, and trails through public policy advocacy and land conservation.
